Trevor Aleo, Ed.D.
As a teacher-scholar exploring the convergence of new media and the humanities, Trevor researches how students use digital, critical, and disciplinary literacies to create literary knowledge. Alongside his research, he is passionate about bringing that scholarly work to educators and school leaders through public scholarship, professional learning workshops, and curriculum consulting.
My consulting is grounded in the same research that shapes my teaching and writing. I design professional learning experiences that invite educators to engage in meaningful and sustained inquiry on a range of topics including: close reading and interpretation, multimodal composing, disciplinary literacy, transfer-focused curriculum design, and more.
